Invasive Species Control
Invasive species continue to be a problem for land owners and resource managers. Virginia Forests Service and Land Care realize the need to control these introduced pests for the potential damage they can do. Invasive plants such as multi-flora rose, bitter-sweet, and kudzu can take over productive lands quickly. Introduced pest such as gypsy moth and hemlock wooly adelgid threaten to kill large acres of mature forest if left unattended.
Virginia Forests Service and Land Care offers many different treatment options for controlling invasive species. From ground applications to aerial treatments by helicopter, we strive to insure that these pests do not negatively impact your natural resources.
